Volunteers Needed!

Please consider getting involved in one or more of our important PTO committees for the 2024-2025 school year either as a chairperson or volunteer.  The time commitment is significantly less in middle school than in elementary school!

 

8th Grade Awards Breakfast

  • Need a chairperson to help plan the 8th grade continental breakfast following the end of year awards ceremony.  
  • 8th Grade parents can coordinate but 6th & 7th grade parents volunteer to help set up, serve and clean up.

Please consider a position on the PTO Board for the 2024-2025 school year. The time commitment is significantly less in middle school than in elementary school.

 

President and Co-President

Share responsibilities and preside over and provide agenda for all PTO Board meetings. Appoint Chairs of Special Committees. Oversee activities of all other Officers and Special Committee Chairs. Present a written summary of PTO activities, communicate upcoming events and maintain social media sites. Perform other duties as needed.

 

Vice President and Co-Vice President

Share responsibilities and perform duties of the President(s) in his/her absence(s), act as a liaison between the Board and other Committees and performs other duties as requested by the President(s) or other members.

 

Treasurer

Has custody of all funds of the OOMS PTO, maintains accurate records of all receipts and expenditures, makes disbursements as authorized, and provides all information to the Recording Treasurer.

 

Recording Treasurer

Verifies record keeping and reporting and presents a financial report at every meeting. Files all tax returns and other related documents to the Internal Revenue Service, Ohio Secretary of State, or other legal authorities as necessary.

 

Secretary and Co-Secretary

Record, maintain, and distribute the minutes of all PTO meetings. Perform other duties as requested to support other board members.
